I’ve mentioned the baby boom at our church. Another tiny member arrived just the other day. I already had a quilt ready, but the new momma posted pics of her nursery and I knew I had fabric that would match. I got this charm pack as part of my Christmas gift from Daughters #1 and #3 last year and the fabrics in it will look great with her decor.

I kept things very simple, I used my die cutter to cut out 5 inch squares of white and just alternated those with the squares from the charm pack.

It didn’t take long at all to piece this top together and get it on the fram.

Now it is quilted and the binding is ready to go.

This is just the kind of quick project I needed to get back into the sewing room. Have a great day!

What a darling bay quilt. Love the fabrics also. very cute.
Cute little baby quilt. Simple is always nice, and the wavy line quilting sets off the blocks really well.
You’re so thoughtful and sharing. It’s a beauty.
Very pretty. How many 5″ squares does the studio cutter cut at once, if it were just 1 layer of fabric that is? I know you can cut up to 10 layers at once.
So pretty, and that binding is just yummy. Baby quilts are such fun to make!
What a sweet baby quilt! Love the quilting design also! Sorry to hear about your precious pet, glad you are back in your sewing room. I find that helps ease my mind when I can lose myself in my quilting.
This is a great little baby quilt. I love when I have fabric that will work for someone else. Nice job and I am sure this little one will enjoy snuggling up in this quilt.
What a sweet little quilt. I love that you are posting baby quilts – I have a new grandbaby due in the spring, and your postings are inspirational for this grandma!
