Thank You

Thank you to all for your thoughts, prayers, and sweet comments about my little buddy.

I admit to spending way too much time watching this and vegging out on the couch this week.

I did work on a mug rug yesterday.

And enjoyed this glorious sunset the other night.

It’s hard to be sad when this little man visits me! We had fun with Play Dough.

I’m glad my sweet grand dogs are still here. Hubby took this picture of the them with Pierre early last week.

Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

I have been away – read your post about losing Pierre but couldn’t comment. I know all about how empty your home and heart is after a beloved old dog dies. When it happened to me, the only right thing for me was to go get a new dog immediately. I just couldn’t stand the emptiness. But others, I know, need to wait a while before they’re ready. And, of course, there’ll never be another Pierre. Dogs are as unique as people. They each have their distinct personalities, and though purebred dogs very much look alike, they still have individual personalities and temperaments. I’m so glad you have your granddogs and grandchildren to entertain and distract you. And I know you have lots of beautiful memories of Pierre which will be a comfort in the long run.
