Here is another QOV from a Stitching Sisters member, Annette.

But I’m not in love with the thread I used on the back.

Live and learn. The binding was sent along with this top, just to keep the two together. Since I wanted to play with my new Juki, I asked if anyone minded if I finished the binding and label. I got the go ahead! This quilt is now washed and ready to be presented to a veteran at the Stitching Sisters meeting next week.

It’s amazing how different it looks once it’s quilted. Great finish!
Great work! Love the quilting and your backing.
Spectacular finish!!
A gorgeous quilt… love the baptist fans pattern!
My favorite pattern too! Beautiful star quilt.
Good Morning Katy,
Oh how I love that quilting pattern – the baptist fan. It sure enhances this quilt, and I bet it feels SO good after a washing. I just want to snuggle under it. ~smile~ Roseanne
The baptist fan is lovely, and the texture after washing is especially appealing. This quilt has a somewhat vintage look in the photo; really nice!
Katy I love the baptist fan! Do you do that free motion? Thank you very much for completing this quilt. This was one of Stitching Sisters group row quilts. Will definitely be presented this month and I will share pictures of the proud Veteran and his/her quilt.
