More Sewing Room Organization

Hubby found these little organizer drawers from Menards and they are perfect for long arm bobbins.

I rediscovered this label maker and now I’m labeling everything!

Like these drawers.

I also bought a hollow core door to make my cutting table bigger. Eventually I will paint it white. I also got the big new cutting mat.

It sure feels good to finally make some progress on all of this! I sure hope I finish some day soon.

By the way, Accuquilt has just added a new free pattern . Click the link to get the new Rainbow Flying Geese pattern and others. Need anything else? Click here for all the current sales.

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

Lve your using a lable maker – you can find what you have so much easier. I like the door too – a nice big cuttng surface. Good job!

  2. It must be a joy to work in such an organized space. I fear I will never feel that joy as my space is not so neat. One question: Where is your fabric stash? πŸ™‚

  6. Love seeing how others organize! One of the top things on my list when we move in is a new large cutting mat! The door is a wonderful idea for a cutting table! What did you use underneath?

  7. How can you create in all that clear space, wink! I love re-organizing, I just rarely do it. Thanks for the inspiration.
