Travel Prep

Before my kids even left, I was starting to get ready to go to Wisconsin again. My dad has been fighting cancer for the last eight years. He is at home, but now in hospice care. So I’m going back again to see him and help my mom. I don’t know how long I will be there. I am going to bring a sewing machine and some projects to work on while I am there.

First on the list, I’d like to hand sew the binding on this quilt.

I haven’t worked on these log cabin blocks since I cut the rest out so this is a good project to take.

I’ve decided how I want to set these daisy blocks , so I will bring them along as well.

I’m in the mood to work on some small blocks. Hopefully I will have time to do some cutting for that also. I love these fabrics.

We shall see!

Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!
