DWMonday ~ Quilting Design Ideas

Since I have finally gifted Daughter #2’s QOV, I will be sharing finish pictures soon. I thought first, I would show you some of the ideas I cycled through for the border quilting.

I’ve mentioned before that I use an app called Adobe Ideas on my iPad to try out quilt designs. Sadly, it is no longer available. I’m sure there are others out there that work as well. In the end, I went with the ribbon candy design (6th design from the top). I’m not thrilled with it, but it hardly shows anyway and I do like the texture it gives.

Have a great day!

That’s funny, because while I like them all, I would have chosen that one for this spot, too.

  2. I like them all but I think the last one is my favorite.

I like how your ‘ribbon candy’ design plays with the star blocks. That would have been my choice too.
