Happy Friday, everyone! The Dinosaur quilt for Ezra is done!
This was a really fun quilt to make and it gave me a chance to use both my embroidery machine and my hand dyed fabrics, neither of which get used as much as they should.
Here is a shot of the back.
I used Angela Walters’ idea of dot to dot quilting in the hour glass blocks and a simple loopy design in the background of the embroidered/appliqued blocks.
Daughter #1 is very happy with it and that makes me happy too!

How cute!
super cute!
This is so cute. I love that loopy design.
Love your quilt! The colors are fabulous!
So adorable! I like what you chose for the quilting. It lets the embroidered parts and hourglasses really shine. Baby E will love it, I’m sure! (Will he be Baby E? I see that his Big brother is Little E. Hmm.)
So Cute!! Your quilting turned out great!
Another lovely quilt Katy! I like the simple quilting patterns you’ve used.
Everything about it is FABULOUS!
That came out so cute! Great colors. Hugs,
What an adorable quilt! I like the strong dynamic quilting in the quarter square triangle blocks balancing the meandering around the dinosaurs.
That is simply one of the most adorable baby quilts I’ve seen in a long time. No surprise that Daughter #1 loves it … Ezra will too, I’m sure!
The wonderfully rich colors of your hand dyes make this quilt a real treat for the eyes, and the dinosaurs are just plain adorable.
That’s a very wonderful quilt! Beautiful colors, nice motifs, L N n In inji k kniiiijj
