Hubby and I got in late last night and were up and on the way back to the airport by 4:30 this morning. Poor guy has a business trip to Mexico. I’m back home but even after only 3 hours of sleep, I’m wide awake. I’ll need lots of coffee to make it through this work day which ends at 9 tonight!
When we got to our terminal at Sky Harbor Airport, I found they had a small quit exhibition there!

I was so glad we got there early enough to see it and I thought you would enjoy it too. Each quilt is followed by the artist info.

There were a few more but these I liked best. Hope you enjoy these as well.
It was awfully hard to leave my kids yesterday but we made some wonderful memories! Thanks for continuing to visit even with my lack of responding to comments. I’m sure hoping tomorrow that I can get back to the sewing room.

Great end to your trip! I want to live in a town called Carefree, how great would that be?
Thanks for sharing, Katy. You can certainly see the Arizona influence on most of these. I can’t even IMAGINE making a quilt using a photo. Wow!
Wow, how awesome that they had quilts on display. Thanks for sharing them with us … and good luck getting through your long day.
Thanks for sharing some amazing quilts! Inspiring to see where some artists have taken the medium. Good luck on getting through your extra long day, and in recovering from grandbaby withdrawal.
