I plan to share some quilts with you today from way back when….but none of them are mine, nor were they made by me. These are all quilts that I saw while antiquing with Mr. Wonderful.
Love the yellow thread in that one! Sadly it appears ace bled onto the background fabric.
The squares in the 9 patches of that last one were about a half inch!
Quilting Jet Girl has a Thursday link up called Thankful Thursday. I think it is good to reflect and cout our blessings. I am thankful for my hubby who is willing to traipse through countless antique stores with me. He never fails to find all the vintage toy sewing machines before I do! I’m thankful for the chance to see and admire these beautiful quilts from years past.

Beautiful quilts. I will make a baby quilt using the large and small flying geese pattern!
I wonder if the maker of the first quilt also made the flying geese quilt because the red fabrics appear to be the same! Love it! Did you purchase the quilts or just admire them? It really is nice to have a supportive hubby! Mine is too!
These are beautiful quilts. Old quilts are my favorite. You have been blessed with a special husband. Hugs,
It is so lovely to have a supportive husband – yay!
So nice to hear of your gratitude for your spouse. It is so important to never take that partner for granted. These antique quilts are lovely. I love coming across these and wondering what their history is.
1/2″ squares on those nine patches? Yikes! They’re all fabulous quilts … I can see why they caught your eye. Your hubby is definitely a keeper.
