It is cold here! We are expected to have a high of 10 degrees here today. Factor in the wind chill and it’s not fit for man nor beast out there! I sat by the fire and read all last evening, too cold to go down and sew. I did get all the bits prepared for my swap blocks before work yesterday.

Now I just need to sit down and sew! I also made my log cabin back this morning.

Every block I add to my stack represents one day closer to spring!

I like your thinking — and I won’t complain how cold it is here because you’ve got me beat by a long shot. Luckily my studio is upstairs and stays pretty warm.
I love your log cabin blocks so much – the colours are stunning – the fabric looks so rich in colour – I see you are managing to do at least one a day as you wanted to.

We’re back up into the double digits here … lest you think we’re having a heat wave, our wind chill is still well below 0. I’m binding today … sewing on the binding isn’t one of my favorite parts, but I don’t mind hand stitching it down to the back … and when it’s done, I have a finished quilt … and can start another one! Woo hoo!
Love your log block! YES baby, it’s cooooold out there – we had a high of 2° yesterday, today it’s a heat wave…currently it’s 6°! Still trying to finish my Grand Illusion Mystery while getting back ‘on duty’ with Quilts of Valor. Lots of FUN things starting to happen…Spring – where are YOU? Your countdown will help keep me focused, what a neat idea! Try and stay warm w/one of your gorgeous quilts…how ’bout that cheddar? 😉
Your log is going to be soooo gorgeous !!
And yess !! it’s a great countdown !
