I created this quilt in the days following 9/11. In the red stripes, I quilted the following verse:
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. ~ 2 Chronicles 7:14

Love your quilt. Perfect. The scripture should be used everyday. Thanks for sharing this.
Love this Katy

Love this..Thank you for sharing!
I love that scripture verse and I love the quilt. Indeed, this is a day that should always be remembered. My heartfelt prayers to the families of those lost and injured.
Beautiful! We shall never forget.
I really like this one. No, we will never, ever forget…When we went to NYC a few years ago, we visited the 9-11 Memorial. It was so moving. I found it odd that people were taking pictures and smiling for the camera. I couldn’t smile whine I was there. I just wept…
What a wonderful tribute!
This is a beautiful quilt. I’d be tempted to make one, but I’m Canadian. Never forget.
No, we will never forget … and that scripture always comes to my mind on 9-11.
