Slow Stitching Sunday

I spent a little time hand sewing the binding on my SQT challenge quilt today.

I used a single fold binding this time. I found a bit of old feedback to use for the back.

It finished up at a tad over 12 inches square.

You can see that some of my HSTs were a bit off. They were already sewn and I used my die cutter to trim them to size. Clearly I didn’t have them on the die just right. I’m okay with that. It is a humble little quilt and that kind of stuff just adds character.

These blocks from a SQT swap last fall are next on my to do list. One person was unable to finish her blocks due to health issues. We all made a block for her anyway and she sent signature squares. I hope to get this block made today and then I will start laying out the quilt.
