Early last year, I joined the Small Quilt Talk (SQT) group on Yahoo, hosted by Kathy Tracy. She has written several delightful books of small quilts and uses one of her patterns each month as a challenge. I joined in February but went back and completed a quilt for January. The only month I missed was June; it was applique!
These are out of order but here they are anyway!
I did two of the challenge quilts for this month. Here is the second:
This next one I made for my SQT swap partner:
The next one was made for my Secret Santa Swap partner:
This next one was my least favorite. Not because of the pattern, I just didn’t care for the colors I chose.
I will try to keep up with this years challenges as well. I really enjoyed being part of this group. The one change I am considering, I am thinking I will make all my SQT challenges this year with vintage fabric. I have quite a stash and this would be a fun way to use it.
I love the concept of small quilt each month Do have a choice or it a mystery quilt . Is this done on line ? Love the primitive prints!
They all came out so nice! Love the deep colors and the smalls are fun to work on!
Congratulations!! Beautiful work!
You did a great job this year — I might get a few more done this year but not as many as you did.
