Work in Progress Wednesday

Not much time today but this is what is in progress in my sewing room.

Finally got this loaded. Hope to get it quilted yet this week. Good thing too, since NBC aired a story on QOV, requests have been pouring in!
I am also thinking ahead to two more QOVs using these panels.

I will use one panel in the center of each and these quilts will go to two brothers that served in Iraq.
Wonderful hubby bought me a huge new monitor for my sewing room! I can get EQ and my embroidery software up at the same time.

I haven’t used my Embroidery machine in a while so I am stitching some samples to get back in the groove.

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

    This is beautiful.

You’d think, being the wife and mom of veterans I’d have contributed to QOV. Something for me to think about.

Your QOV quilt on the frame looks so cozy. It’s beautiful. So is the American Eagle you embroidered.
