Saturday night I cut pieces for my October challenge quilt for Small Quilt Talk. I decided to piece just few bits of the blocks.

Next thing you know I had blocks pieced! I used scraps again. Decided to pick out sashing.

Hmmmm…..might as well choose border fabric.

Sunday morning I got up and quilted and bound it before church. I took pictures before and after washing. Here is before:

This is currently residing on my coffee table. It is perfect for the season!
It has rained here all weekend. If it dries up enough, I need to mow the lawn today. But first I hope to get the binding on the QOV I finished quilting last night. Here are a few sneak peaks:

I am linking up with Judy at Patchwork Times for DWM. Go visit to see what others are up to.
I am also linking up with Stich by Stich for Anything Goes.
Lots of fun stuff to see there!

Very nice scrap fabric quilt block. Sashing and border looks great and you still made it to church. Wonderful!
Love your fall leaves. I need to get busy and make some, too!
Love the little quilt. Screams fall! Good job getting the QOV quilted. Can’t wait to see the whole quilt.
I’m so impressed you got this all done in two days. I’m still working on one of the triangle ones from late spring. Hum, maybe it should go on my goals list and it would get finished! Your leaves look wonderful.
What a great little quilt you made: scraps go together so great. And the quilting on your QOV looks wonderful.
Beautiful leaves, really great colors.
