Not much piecing going on here lately but I did get a few of these HSTs sewn together. A while back, I cut up a box full of these in brights. This will be a service quilt for donation.
Our local quilt shop is collecting quilts for Oklahoma. A quilt won’t bring back anyone’s house but hopefully, it will cause someone to feel prayed for and loved. If anyone wants to give financially, you can do so through Lifechurch.tv. I LOVE Lifechurch. They are based in Oklahoma City and are responding to the people there with love and compassion in practical ways. You can go to their website and click the giving tab. There will be a place to designate that you want your gift to go to help those affected by the storms. I have given to them many times and believe this to be a ministry of unparalleled integrity.
This is one of the quilts I dropped off for OK.
I really am happy with the back.
These are Denyse Schmidt prints from JoAnn’s. I really like this simple pattern and I’m considering making a quilt for my bed like this.
Today is going to be spent thrifting with Daughter #1 and Daughter #3. Should be fun!
Btw, I linking up with Judy at Patchwork Times. Go see what others are up to quiltingwise today.
great scrappy quilts!!
I like what you’re doing with the brights. I also have a quilt I’m sending to Oklahoma City. I hope to get that boxed up today. I know they’ll be welcome.
God bless you and your sweet heart. Thank you for the suggestion of checking into LifeChurch.tv. It’s hard to know organizations that “really” share what we give to those in need. I love your quilt and your heart.
Love the scrappy quilt. And the backing is a nice addition. Great job!!
Great scrappy 16 patch quilt front and back, sure to make someone feel loved. Have fun thrifting with the girls.
