   Hello Barbie and thanks for visiting! Quilting is a wonderful creative process and the more you do it, the more you love it! I will have to go back now and figure out exactly which 9-patch I had published back in 1996! I did a lot of free lance work for various quilt magazines all edited by the same woman back in the ’90s. It was a fun job while it lasted :). Thank you again for your kind words.

   Hello Katy,

   I just found your site today because I borrowed a quilting magazine from a lady (1996) as saw a quilt you displayed. Now in mid 60’s I’m finally getting serious about quilting. You are a very creative person which I love but more than that we are both on a journey – to Heaven. I so love your comments about Easter and any Scripture verses you use. I have not yet read all your blogging but will do so when I have more time. The reason I found you was because I wanted to see a picture of your 9 patch quilt shown in that ’96 issue. So far I’ve only made 4 quilts and am still very much a struggling learner but very excited to learn more. I just finished a baby quilt for my grandson Joel and now want to do a plaid one for my 2 1/2 grandson so…I’m looking for ideas.

   Thanks and can’t wait to read and see more.
