….these little tool boxes? I got mine from Sam’s Club Online. You can also get one from Lowe’s that is branded, Kobalt. They seem to be quite the craze in the quilting/crafting world right now.
I initially bought the Kobalt version, but I took it back. this one is slightly bigger and has the handle on top. It also came with a few matching tools. I think it will be perfect for basic sewing supplies in the RV.
Both versions are just under $20. They have a very high cuteness factor!
I try not to bombard my readers with affiliate sale ads, but I do want to share these great deals with you!
Also, I earn a small commission, at no additional cost to you, on sales if you click through from my site. This helps offset the costs of hosting this blog, meaning I can continue to post daily content.
On to the deals! First of all, Fat Quarter Shop has Bella Solids on sale all month long! These are really nice solids and are quickly becoming a staple of my stash. I buy some colors by the bolt!
AccuQuilt also has some great deals! Check this out!
Not only that, but the AccuQuilt GO! Me is currently on sale for only $89.99! If you always wanted to try a die cutter, this is a low cost way to try it out. It comes with a couple dies as well so you can get started ASAP.
The Quilt Keeper is on sale right now too! I love these for easily displaying quilts. It is so easy to change them out and it takes only seconds to install.
And last, but certainly not least, Connecting Threads is having a sale on their thread! I’ve used this thread for years and love it.
I so appreciate your support of this blog. Thanks for checking out these deals!
As part of our downsizing, I’ve decided to part with this very special sewing machine/table set.
The machine is a Singer model 128 from the 1940s. It is a beautiful 3/4 size machine with its bentwood case. The decals on this machine are not often seen. The machine has been rewired and is ready to sew.
What makes this really special though, is the rarely found library table. It’s the only table I’m aware of that will accommodate a machine in a bentwood case.
The platform has a mechanism to raise it up for a completely flat table surface.
This is located in Saginaw, Michigan. I will not ship, but I will drive up to 75 miles to meet someone. Price is $250. Email with questions at sew4given@aol.com
The second half of our rip was about visiting family. We stopped in Kansas to visit the mister’s sister and her hubby. I love them! Sadly, I forgot to take any photos! After a visit that was way too short, we moved on.
A beautiful sunrise greeted me the first morning at the farm where my sweet mother in love lives. It is called Our Father’s Farm. You can learn more about it by clicking here.
We had a great visit with her and another dear SIL.
Willy is loving the RV Life!
And Winslow, who has never really enjoyed car rides, has decided she likes it as well.
We took a break and stopped at an antique mall. I fell in love with this quilt, but only took a few pictures. I have to remember we are downsizing and this is not the time to collect quilts!
You may have figured out by now that we are back in Michigan. I had prepared and scheduled many blog posts ahead, because I knew we would be busy. Here is a quick summary of our trip north with Dora.
