I finished piecing my doll quilt and basted it. I thought I’d hand quilt it, but then I came to my senses.

Today I will get the binding done.

No finishes to share today. I’ve had a rather unproductive week in the sewing room. But in a crazed fit, I grabbed this bin of vintage scraps.

I decided to make my version of a vintage doll quilt I saw online.

Did I finish? No, I did not. Could I have finished? Certainly. It wasn’t a time issue, I just was unmotivated.

I haven’t put a lot of thought into this leader/ender project. I just grabbed this bin of 2 1/2 inch squares and some plain white squares.

Just pairing them up and stitching print squares to white squares.

Who knows where this will end up?

The blocks are all sewn together and it is time to decide on birders. I’ve had this bit in my stash for ages and haven’t found a good use for it.

I really love this stripe, but probably don’t have enough.

I think I need to frame it before adding that serpentine stripe.
