I’m not a purple girl, so I’m thinking I will go with reds, dark blue, light blue and neutrals.

Lori has revealed the last steps for the QAL. Here is the layout without the borders. I love it!

I’m far from done, but I have refolded most of my fabric and sent one big box to Goodwill. My dies are sorted.
Most of these drawers and the stuff on top has been gone through.
Someone asked about how I fold fabric. Larger pieces (more than a yard) are wrapped around my largest ruler and then folded in half. You can see piles like this at the back of the drawer below.
Smaller pieces are folded selvedge to selvedge and then again, fold to selvedge. Then they are wrapped around my 6 by 12 ruler.
Yardage.
This is all scraps that need processing. I have several other bins of scraps as well that I need to go through.
I’ve also evicted numerous dust bunnies! I hope to get this project wrapped up this week. We shall see.

I had extra backing and batting when I quilted my Funky Weave quilt, so I quilted this fun fabric while I was at it.
I wanted to make some small bags. I looked at a few tutorials and ended up with this.
I sort of followed the tutorials! But you know I always do things my own way.
That worked out, so I made a bigger one.
Next I added a small zip bag to the lot.

I have yet to put my blocks together from my last leader/ender project, but I needed something else. So I grabbed this bin of 2 1/2” squares.
And I started making four patches.
They seem huge after the little ones I made for the Summit Stitching QAL!

Getting started on this huge project is a real struggle. It won’t get done overnight. I started by folding and measuring pieces I have on hand for quilt backings.
Each piece got a label pinned to it with the size.
I also sorted this little cabinet.
All scissors are in one place.
Same for rotary cutters and blades.
The other drawers have needles, marking tools, and picture hanging supplies.
Not a lot of progress, but given this horrible cold, I’m calling it good.

My room is a disaster!
My fabric all needs sorting and refolding.
I still have boxes from Michigan.
And my dies are everywhere.
I’m posting these photos so I feel accountable to start cleaning and sorting.

I actually have all 20 done now. I think the next step comes out today.
