I love the Great Lakes! The mister and I spent some time at Lake Michigan on our recent trip.

The rock hounders were out in full force taking advantage of the beautiful day.

And yes, I picked up my fair share! I was on a mission to find Septarian Nodules, also known as Lightening Stones. They are the brown ones with white streaks in the box below. They don’t look like much until you cut them open to see the “lightening “ inside.

We did wake up to this one morning. 😱
