I’ve made a few Half Rectangle quilts over the years. I’m thinking of making another one.

I need to make a wedding quilt for a couple that love mid century modern style. I picked up these solids to work from:

I’ll also add a background solid, probably a cream color.

I’m taking my inspiration from the black and red quilt above. I really should get cutting, but I need to source my background fabric first.
