Finish It Up Friday ~ Tiles

This quilt spent months in my head, much longer than it took to actually make it.

I used these design boards to quilt it. It was the first time I used this set and almost immediately regretted it. But there is a lot of back tracking so there was no ripping happening.

I used 50 weight Glide Thread and should have used the thinner 60 weight. What I really should have done, is gone with my gut and quilted simple horizontal lines.

I love the design, just not on this quilt. I do love the plaid I found for the back!

And this alphabet print for the binding.

This was made to go with the bunting I made last month.

Now I just need to make a label.

Have a great day!

Ooh, I love this design! The texture is fabulous! The backtracking must have been a nightmare, but it looks amazing!

Thanks, Aby. It’s growing on me. 😊

Although you dislike the quilting motif, it does add a nice tile-like texture in the abundant negative space.
