Chicken Scratch

I recently received these lovely pieces from my sweet MIL. They came from her mother.

She made many quilts with blocks like these.

I’m assuming these pieces were for aprons. Aren’t they beautiful?

I’m not yet sure what I will do with them yet. But I love them.

    wow…treasures for sure…such talent! You may want to check out Sue Spargos blog/newsletter. Within the past two weeks, she discussed chicken scratch! Serendipity!
