This cotton batting from Mountain Amit is no longer made. When I see it at estate sales or thrift stores, I always grab it. I love it for mini quilts.

And this is why, it can be split into two layers.

Usually one layer ends up thinner than the other. That’s okay with me. I will use the other layer for another mini.

This is the backing I’ve chosen. I will be hand quilting this one.
