My little quilt is done!

I quilted it with small Baptist Fans.

I found this very old Virginia Robert’s print in my stash when I was sorting and folding. It makes a great binding.

Here is a peek at the backing.

I actually made my little quilt bigger than Lori’s because I had so many four patches made up. So the center of mine is more like the antique inspiration quilt. But I did my borders differently. I’ve seen this treatment on a lot of vintage quilts and thought it worked pretty well.

Here is the original inspiration quilt for comparison.

So thankful that Lori generously does these QALs each year.

And here it is hanging in place. BTW, mine finished at 34 inches square.

Have a great day.

Great job! Love the 3-strip border. Your Mt. Summit finished at a great size!
I love the way you finished your border! Thanks for sewing a long. I love it!
I agree. A wonderful and beautiful little quilt. Love what you did with the border!
Love this one! Yours is even better than your inspiration. Don’t know if I have the patience for all the four patches though. Sent from my iPhone
