I saw this lovely quilt at Goodwill last week. Such beautiful piecing. It broke my heart to see it there for only $12.49. I didn’t bring it home, I already have too many of my own.

It does make me think about what will happen to all of mine someday. I give many away, but still…. I think I may try to put together a post about places to donate quilts. But I’ll need your help. If you have any info, please share in the comments!
This made me laugh!

I told the dogs to get in their crates the other day and this happened. Not exactly what I meant! 😂

A really good word. I’m hanging on to this.

Have a great day!

I live in Hale now & our guild donates quilts or just quilt tops to a group called Rayola. They cover 17 counties in northern Michigan now by providing a quilt & care package to children coming into the foster system so they have something to keep wherever they go. Rayolawb.com for more info.
So sad when quilts are found in thrift stores. I do believe this is a Bonnie Hunter Carolina Crossroads quilt. Lovely done in the patriotic colorway. I could not have left it there.
I told hubs that I want the family to go through my quilts, pick what they want, and then put the rest out on a table at my funeral, free to those who want a quilt. So sad to see such a pretty quilt at Goodwill!
