My little quilt is done and washed.

The after washing crinkle sure hides a lot of imperfections!

I love working with vintage fabrics. This backing has been in my stash so long, it might be bordering on vintage!

Ugh, those feather tips are bad.

But let’s focus on these fun fabrics instead.

It definitely has a lot of texture.

It is far from perfect, but I like it.

Have a great day!

Haha! Very wise words!
I understand that feeling! I think what bugs me, is that I used to be much better at it. But you have to continue practicing.
That true. Thank you!
Haha! Thank you!
Your quilting has only enhanced the quilt, so don’t go talking trash about it! The whole quilt is gorgeous!
I agree with the comments – the quilting looks great!! We are so critical or ourselves.
You say your feathers are bad but they are beautiful to me. I love feathers and cannot quilt them. I know I need to practice, practice, practice but I can’t bring myself to “ruin” a good quilt top. Then I don’t load practice muslin because there are quilt tops to quilt, LOL! Quite the conundrum.
WE see the imperfections in our piecing and quilting, but quilt itself will be loved and appreciated! And finished is always better than perfection. Says one who notices every little error in her piecing and quilting. 🙂
