Sewing time has been hard to find, but I got a day and set up at the dinette.
I finished all 42 blocks!
And I tried to lay them out on my bed. It was too windy outside.
Sorry for the terrible photo. What I learned from this, is that I need my design wall. Rather than make something I’m not happy with, I’ll wait until we get back to AZ to finish this project. Maybe I’ll even make a few more blocks then.

This block inspired me to make a Quilt of Valor, using my 2.5” scraps. I played around with the layout and decided to alternate the blocks with red going one direction and blue the other. The blocks form a lattice chain that appeals to me. Thanks for the inspiration.
