Ever the one to over pack, I’m thinking about another hand quilting project for the summer.
I bought this quilt about ten years ago at an antique shop out here. It is small. I think the 9 patches are about 5 inches.
It has been tied and I’m not sure it has any batting. It has been well loved, the piecing is nicely done by hand.
The border fabric is interesting. Is this seersucker? The edges were finished with a blanket stitch.
The backing is flannel.
It was always my intent to take this apart and then hand quilt it. What would you do?

That sure looks like seersucker to me. Interesting! And to finish it with a blanket stitch as well! Will be interesting to see what you decide!
