I finally decided. This is the top I plan to hand quilt this summer. I basted it on the long arm at 4 stitches per inch. I made horizontal lines about 2 1/2” apart.

This is pretty close, but I’ve come to prefer hand quilting without a hoop.

I take the basting stitches out as I go. I plan to quilt with my large Baptist Fan stencil.
