I’m still trying to decide which of my machines to take in Dora this summer. I pulled out my favorite Featherweight. Isadore hasn’t been used in a while.

I got these bits long ago in a bag of scraps.

I decided to piece some together.

Then I put a walking foot on and tried quilting.

Not bad, but what if I add more?

Hmmmm…. Better than expected. I decided to wash this piece. Here are after washing photos.

Now I remember why I used to wash all my finished pieces right away! You notice texture more than individual stitches.
I can’t really do free motion work on the Featherweight, but if walking foot quilting works, that might be good enough.
Have a great day!

Only about 8 by 10 inches. I ended up cutting it into years. ☺️
Looks beautiful for machine quilting. What is the finished size? Doll quilt or placemat?
Looks beautiful, for machine quilting. How big is this baby? Doll quilt size?
