An Oldie

This is one of the bits I pulled out of the orphan block box.

I added this skinny border. That brought the size up to 8 1/2” FINISHED. Weird, I know.

So I added this to get it to a more reasonable 10 inches finished.

I had planned to create a medallion quilt, similar to this. This quilt is from an old book called Small Endearments by Sandy Fox.

But I think in trying to get to an even number, I’ve made a mess of the design proportions. This project may end up in time out for a while.

It happens.

    ay there’s the rub with orphan blocks for sure…but your box of them is certainly nicer than mine….LOL
