Finally! This little quilt is only 40” square, but it has taken over a year to finish.

It was started in a quilt along by Taryn , @reproquiltlover on Instagram. It contains 2,838 pieces. Each tiny square finishes at one half inch.

This is the smallest piecing I’ve ever done. And none of it was done with strip piecing. Every square was cut and stitched individually.

It is quilted every half inch.

And this is where it is now hanging in my house.

I love this piece, but I’m sure glad it is done.
Have a great day!

I remember seeing a pattern like that in a quilt calander, and thinking to myself, Nope, I’ll cut the strips at 1 1/2″ and strip piece these. I’ll take PEACE over tiny piecing any day!
It is gorgeous! Love how it turned out and that is the perfect spot for it. You must be so relieved to have it finished. 😄
Astonishing! That is a beautiful piece. I might try one using 1″ finished…
Your quilt is exquisite, Katy! I don’t know how you worked with pieces that small, but the result was worth the effort.
That is quite an accomplishment! I love your little quilt.
I love your tiny nines! Hats off to finishing this little masterpiece. Laurie
Beautiful!!!!
Wow, no strip piecing and finished at 1/2”….color me impressed!
