The mister was working at Daughter #2s house and I made myself work on these borders.
It was no small feat, but it is done. You can see in the photo below how huge this quilt is.
I also figured out a backing. I picked up this solid yellow. Sadly, I have to piece three lengths to get a piece big enough. Wish me luck.

Yay for getting the borders done! It’s like a wrestling match, keeping the quilt from pulling, always having to adjust as you sew. It is huge…at least it appears so (unless you have a very short long arm 😉
