I’ve decided this definitely needed a border. I’ve tried out so many pieces from my stash, and this is the best I could come up with.
This is the pantograph I’m using.

Lovely solution! It’s different enough from the setting squares and has a similar style to unify the border and centre. This will be so good!
yes i am thinking when completely done you’ll find that it was the right fabric for that piece after all….i like it now…
