It’s true that an ugly quilt can keep one just as warm as a pretty one. This one maybe isn’t ugly so much as it is boring.

I thought the jelly roll I used would make a nice, masculine quilt. It’s okay.

I did find a great binding fabric in my stash.

The quilting looks good on the back.

At least it is done and no longer mocking me from the shelf.

Have a great day!

Un peu austère mais pas moche !
Thank you!
It turned out great. I get it when you say boring….I call all the browns/beiges in my stash ugly, but I know they’ll look great in a finished quilt. ☺
Beautiful quilting. Someone will love it!

I think you achieved a masculine look. I was thinking my gr’son Kyler would love it.
I like the monochrome effect. It’s hard to coordinate fabrics for a “masculine” quilt.
I, too, struggle with Jelly Rolls and other precuts. Unless I add other fabrics they often appear monotonous. But, done is its own kind of lovely.
