It’s done! Big stitch quilting with perle cotton or crochet thread goes pretty quickly. The first two photos were taken before washing.


I played chicken with my thread, but I won!


The rest of these photos were after washing. It crinkled up beautifully!

I washed this in my washer/dryer.




You can see here that not all the yellowing came out.


I remember paying $20 for this top many years ago. I sure got my money’s worth!

This is a beautiful finish, Katy. I’ve often wondered if crochet cotton would work instead of perle cotton. Now I know it will! I’m not sure what size you used. The label looks like it says 3/0 or 3/9? I have several tops that would do well with big stitch quilting. Thanks!
