Finish It Up Friday ~ 30s Scrappy Rectangles

It’s done!

I love scrappy quilts! This was made with all reproduction 1930s prints.

The pantograph I used for quilting is called Yarn Tangle. Each rectangle was cut 2 by 3 1/2 inches and the quilt measures 60 by 72 inches.

This last picture probably shows the truest color. I had a tough time getting good photos of this one.

Have a great day!

I’d like to make this two-rail/zigzag quilt, but I don’t want to use white, which I’ve often seen, for the constant fabric. How do you come to a decision on another color to commit to? Do you just pick some color that really makes you smile? Use known family favorite colors? “Color of the Year”? Find a large amount of fabric at a “bargain” price?
Indecision is my kryptonite. Can you help a girl out?
