I finished the hand quilting on this little doll quilt on our way home, but then it sat around for a while waiting for the binding.

It is quilted pretty heavily, but I had time in the RV to do it.

All the fabrics are vintage except for the binding.

The backing is plain muslin.

The enamel number plate was purchased in Iceland at a flea market. Seventy-three was our house number when we lived in France years ago. We had an address plate like this back then. It seemed to match the quilt.

This is my first finish since we got back. Finally.
Have a great day!
PS Carolyn Henderson, you left a comment that I am unable to respond to. I am not a dealer and do not sell long arm machines.

Such a darling little quilt and I love all that quilting! I can imagine the wonderful texture under my fingers, there is nothing else like the little dimples of a hand quilted item!
hello Katy,
While I don’t have a long arm and probably never will, your recent selling and then just purchasing another makes me ask what features does your new one have that made it “the one for you”. Please know I find your blog so inspiring and look for it daily. Sincerely, Deb B
Your little quilt is precious! Hugs,
