Log Cabins

Remember when I cut out pieces for a log cabin quilt?

I used these tackle boxes I bought at Walmart to keep my pieces organized and they have truly worked out well.

I finally started! My blocks will finish at 8 inches. I used my AccuQuilt GO! Log Cabin die to cut my pieces. I would never make these blocks without that die.

I finger pressed each seam and pressed the finished blocks with my iron when they were done.

I’m loving these so far! Have a great day!

I have a PILE of log cabin blocks I made a few years ago, and cannot decide how to set them! My seams are not accurate, and so I’m frustrated, just go ahead and sew them up or sliver trim?

Is it possible for you to take pictures of how you lay it on the dye to get such great variety? Do you cover the whole die with a fat quarter and cut all sizes out of one color? My brain does not compute how to get such great variety using the dyes. Thanks.Cindy Nelson
