I almost didn’t finish this. I don’t love it, but I learned a lot making it.
Here’s a look at the back. I finished it with a facing.
I do love the texture and this kind of quilting was enjoyable to do.
I just wish I had done a bit more thinking before I started the quilting.
I’m glad I finished it. I like the composition and I learned a lot, so I guess that makes it a success.

I like this little quilt, every bit of it. The texture is very cool. I have a few of those “learning quilts”, and I’ve liked them more and more as time goes by.
I love how you defined the project as a success because you learned from doing it! I just made a wall hanging that I didn’t finish because I didn’t like it. I’ll give it to a friend who will finish it and display it in a library. I also love the quilting that you did on it.
