It’s finally done! It’s true, a project you don’t work on takes forever to finish. And I didn’t work on this much at all last winter.

Willy gave his approval.
I kept the backing plain as I usually do when quilting vintage tops.

After taking the photos shown above, I gave it a wash. The texture is wonderful.


You can see on the back that I quilted with blue thread. I had it on hand so, why not?


I ran out of one stripe for the binding so I finished with something else.

The more I look at this quilt, the more I love it!

Awww…Sweet Willy loves it as much as YOU do. It DOES look fabulous after washing, Katy. And your great hand-stitching really pops with the blue thread.
