I made some more tiny 9 patches, but I think I’m done.

If I go with the quilt along, I’ll make 3” blocks. So I made 7 and turned them into a tiny 5 by 8 inch quilt.

I love this backing fabric!

It looks good with my Federation Baby toy sewing machine.

You can read a bit about it here.

Have a great day!

I’m going with the 1 1/4″ squares that finish at 2 1/4″. I think the really tiny ones don’t leave enough room for you to manage them under the presser foot.
LOVE your little quilt and the little sewing machine, so similar to one I had as a child. Thank you for sharing!
I love working on tiny patchwork and making miniature quilts. The only problem is that it doesn’t use up the stash fast enough! I’m curious about the book you showed with information on the toy sewing machine. My parents have a large collection of them and I’d love to find more information on them.
Very cute and I am with you on making something small. I have some 1-1/4 inch strings and some one inch strings and I will make them into nine patch blocks and then I’ll be done. Too many quilts to make. Glad to use up these strings in this way.
