Slow Stitching Sunday

I was in the mood for some mindless stitching. So I whipped up a little improv piece.

I’m using variegated perle cotton to quilt with.

The fabrics are scraps that I hand dyed. I’ll be making it up as I go.

I’m just using the tip of my needles to scratch lines to follow.

Have a great day!

Love those colors together but how do you prevent the colors from running? I’ve never seen variegated perle cotton, where do you get yours please?

This is lovely and just what I need to be doing to combat all the January hustle and bustle.
