A Tiny Finish

I decided to make something from some small vintage scraps I had on hand.

Working with vintage fabric is not easy. The bits were very flimsy and worn. I starched them, but it didn’t help much. I cut them into triangles and pieced my pinwheels.

Please ignore the mismatched points! Yep, you just went and looked, didn’t you? 😂

I found a fun scrap for backing and quilted it in a hanging diamonds pattern with my walking foot.

It finished at about 6” by 9”. I used a single fold binding.

It’s a humble little bit, but I like it. Have a great day!

Another tiny treasure in the fabrics that I love! After the holidays, may I consult with you about finishing (quilting and binding) a doll quilt for me? Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
