Finish It Up Friday ~ Scrappy Stars

The blocks for this quilt were made as part of a sew along headed up by Taryn, @reproquiltlover, on Instagram. It was so fun! The blocks are small, finishing at six inches.

I couldn’t think of how to quilt this, so I fell back on my usual Baptist Fans.

The binding was a bit of a surprise, but it worked.

Gotta love that texture!

A couple of my favorite blocks.

I have no idea where this will end up, but for me, the joy is in the making.

Have a great day!

Lovely little quilt. Snap! I have some of that binding fabric in my stash! I used most of it to back and bind a quilt some years ago but still come across little pieces of it in my scrap and string bins 🙂

The joy IS in the making and in the GIVING. It has a masculine look to it. I’m sure you’ll think of someone to gift it to.
