FQS Four Patch Quilt

Finally I can share this bit of secret sewing with all of you!

A few months ago, I was asked to take part in a sew along for Fat Quarter Shop . This is the fabric I chose to use. Isn’t it lovely?

This quilt went together very quickly. The pattern is perfect if you have large prints or just need a good sized quilt in a hurry. It uses 12 fat quarters, plus a bit of background fabric. The blocks finish at 15 inches.

I used some Ruby Star from another line for the binding.

You can find the tutorial here.

Head over to the FQS Blog to see other versions of this fun quilt. There is a free pattern, a quilt kit, and video available. Have a great day!

This pattern really lends itself to large scale fabrics. Your colorway is so bright and cheery. I am considering this pattern for a grandson’s quilt with dinosaurs and chartreuse alternate fabric. He loves color so I figured that would be a bright one to use.
