Something Old, Something New

I’ve wanted to make this quilt for a very long time. I even had most of the pieces cut! I finally buckled down and cut out the green background bits. It only took about ten minutes. I don’t know why I waited so long.

The squares are all vintage fabrics. This next photo shows where I’m headed here.

It won’t be a very big quilt, because I emptied my bin of these scraps. But I will be able to scratch this off the bucket list and I’m having a ball sewing this up!

Have a great day!

Katy, is this a free pattern available somewhere. I am all about getting my scraps used, and a friend gave me a lot of older prints she no longer wanted to use in her quiting. This looks like ti might be right for those fabrics.

I really like that depression green – lovely paired with the vintage fabrics.
