You know I couldn’t leave the postage stamp leftovers alone! I started thinking I could use them to make a small version of this quilt.
The problem is, the leftover blocks have definite light and dark areas.
Hmmm…. Maybe I should just put them together like this.
But that doesn’t really scratch the itch the stripy quilt above gives.
I’m going to have to think about this some more.

I really like the “gray space” between what you have already pieced. Like a sashing in between your light and darks.
How about using the mixed strip in the backing for the quilt? You’ll figure out something, though, and it will look fabulous!
Hmmm I really like your inspiration quilt too – and your patches… what if you used a solid color like the inspiration – but used a lighter color of it next to the dark blocks and a darker shade of it by the light blocks?
